BOY XS is a new development from BOY – an injection moulding machine designed with well-proven technology and all the merits of our larger machines. BOYs range of products is completed by the very compact BOY XS injection moulding machine, requiring a footprint of no more than 0.74 m².

The essence of micro injection moulding is a perfect reproducibility of the shot volume. A small 12 mm plasticizing unit and the innovative Procan ALP control (for more information see menu item ”technology“) ensure absolute precision, repeatability, and ease of operation.

Advantage

This machine type is ideally suited for the use of flexible and efficient single-cavity moulds instead of large, complicated and delicate types. The mould concept for the BOY XS is to use a fixed mold base with interchangeable inserts that can be changed in no time at all.

When you consider energy consumption and applications, the BOY XS is impressively flexible especially with sprueless injection moulding. A specially designed nozzle, which advances right into the cavity, not only eliminates the sprue but also the costly hot runner systems.

The BOY XS V features vertically arranged clamping and injection units. Being the smallest model, it supplements the reliable series of BOY insert moulding machines. This machine is suited to overmould metal parts, semi-finished parts or, for example, also cable endings.

Advantages

The fixed lower platen prevents the inserted parts from shifting during mould closing. The two-platen clamping system, in connection with the diagonally arranged tie bars, ensures best possible access from all sides, also for the insertion and evacuation of parts, as well as other automation equipment. Furthermore, the machine is ideally suited for integration into a production line.

Injection moulding machine BOY 90 E - BOYs top model

The new machines of the "E" series are our top models. Due to the servo-motor pump drive, they are superior to comparable, competitive products. It is possible to achieve and even surpass the positive features of electro-mechanical machines while simultaneously excluding their disadvantages. Once more, we have proven our leadership and innovative strength with regard to energy-saving technologies, achieving yet another trend-setting breakthrough.

A little more of everything was the motto when developing the largest BOY injection moulding machine. Greater distances between tie bars (430 x 360 mm) and platen distances of 725 mm, optional 900 mm, as well as a clamping force of 900 kN are the characteristics of BOYs top model. And as befits a leading product, the BOY 90 E disposes of all the excellent features typical for injection moulding machines from Neustadt-Fernthal.
